Spike Chassis 005-2062 Details
Lightweight aluminum expansion tank from Spike Chassis. 16oz capacity.
Height of tank is 6.75" and the diameter is 2.5". The bracket adds 3/4" to the width. Fittings needed include: 3/8" on bottom, 1/8" on side. The mounting bracket has holes for two screws as well as permanently attached nuts. Uses standard radiator cap, which is not included.

Nicely constructed with the openings for hose fittings near to being where I'd put them if I had one custom made. Used it on my 1960 AH Bug Eye, small car with limited space to fit. It works well.

Great expansion tank, just had to figure out thread of the nuts on the bracket... 1/4"-28, locking. Put this at the high point of the cooling system so it burps properly... I used it on an LS1 swap where the radiator was lower than the engine. steam line goes to the small port, and then T's into the heater hose.

We use it as a replacement for radiator expansion tanks where we need more room for our turbo set ups. Works great. Would like it if the bottom fitting was 1/2 x 14 NPT more but we just drill and tap it out to that size.
