Speedway Stiletto Dwarf Car 10:1 Ratio Steering Rack & Pinion

This Stiletto Steering assembly is the rack and pinion of choice if you are running a Dwarf car, Mod-lite or building a lightweight Off road vehicle. It is compact, efficient and very durable.

This Stiletto rack n pinion steering unit features an ultra tough 2024-T4 Billet aluminum housing that is durable enough to withstand harsh racing environments. The heavy duty Nylon reinforced Neoprene boots outlast conventional rubber and are secured with double wrapped stainless steel wire. Precision fitted with a heat treated alloy rack and pinion that has also proven to enhance longevity, and provide the dependable “Swiss Watch” movement that is a Stiletto Steering System standard.

This assembly is a front steer style rack & pinion with a 10:1 steering ratio (1-1/4 turns lock to lock) and 4" of total rack travel, lock to lock.  The rack also features clevis ends that accept 1/2" rod ends that are on 15" centers, the common three 1/2" stud bottom mounting pattern, and uses a special Chrysler-type 5/8"-36 (0.620"-36) steering coupler or U-joint.
