very unhappy

June 15, 2016
I am very disappointed in this item ad the top wasn't shaped correctly and it leaks before we even fired the car, tried to add a 2nd gasket to seal top, but it won't seal, top is very cheap looking, will go with a different brand new time
No, I would not recommend this product.

"Filler up!"

June 14, 2016
Because my radiator is lower than the intake manifold in the car I'm building I thought I might have to make a filler neck and integrate it into the top radiator hose. All of a sudden as I was looking through the Speedway catalog there it is, just what I needed! I bought it immediately.
Yes, I recommend this product.

2nd time buying one with the same results, LEAKS LIKE CRAZY!

November 02, 2015
I purchased the first one for a project about a year ago and had issues with it leaking, speedway sent me replacement with no luck and finally had to modify it to get it to work good enough. Well a year later and i made the mistake and bought another one for the new project thinking they should have fixed the issues with them by now and i was wrong, its the same junky product and leaked just as the others did. They all leak around the top filler plate because its made of soft aluminum and will not seal for anything. Until they start making the top out of more sturdy material i will not buy any more nor recommend it to anyone. speedway has some good products but this is one they need to pull from there store until they can get it corrected.
No, I would not recommend this product.

I do NOT recommend this product

July 12, 2015
After installation,..I could not find a radiator cap that would seal the neck closed,...it leaked coolant constantly. I even purchased the rad cap that Speedway's Tech. adviser suggested, to no avail. I purchased a Moroso "stamped " filler neck ( PN#63465 ) from my own dealer,..installed that unit onto the filler neck unit PN# 5752200, with the same results,..coolant leaking from under the cap. I purchased a "CSR" Billet Aluminum filler neck,.. installed it,..problem solved !! Incidentally,.. I contacted Moroso in regards to the filler neck PN# 63465,...and learned really fast that they are more into sales, than PR work !!
No, I would not recommend this product.

Worked great to modify to fit on my 67 Datsun 1600 Roadster, much cheaper than the $400 for an original piece. Had plenty of material to redrill to fit the Datsun.
Yes, I recommend this product.

What Cap dose this take.? I'm planing on replacing the filler neck I now have,I don't know who made the one I have but I'm using one of these,or at lest one that looks excatly like that in photo here, I got from a buddy some years back. When I first put it on my t-bucket,the cap would not seal, there is no bends at all or scraches in the top were cap fits on,so tryed 4 other caps with the same no seal happening. At that point I found out the cap neck is too deep to seal reg caps. What I'm asking is this one made for reg size caps or some oddball like this old one? And have you herd about these old ones before cap size wise? I've always got great stuff from you,but this was not from you,but looks the very same,so before buying one to replace it,I need to know. Thanks

You may want to try a radiator cap such as 91015706 (Stant 10372.) We have found it to work better with filler necks that are a little extra deep. At times we will come across a filler neck that is deeper than typical. It doesn't seem to be limited to this type of filler but more often than not they are the stamped style. The billet necks seem to be more consistent.
