Same basic design as our standard 'Bear Jaw' door latches except smaller and more compact.  Measures 3-7/8" x 1-1/4" x 3/4".

The latch pictured above would be a LH side (drivers side) for a conventional door. If you are using this on a suicide door, this would be for a RH side (passenger side) door.

Quality product.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

There are no instructions on how to install these units. Each purchaser must "reinvent the wheel". Installation is trial and error for installation and alignment. With the amount of these being sold, there should be some common installation instructions that tell you how to connect the interior and exterior door knobs. I was told by a couple of old timers that these latches have hair triggers. If they are not hooked up properly the doors can open when you hit a bump. When all is said and done, I do recommend this over the Model A latches.

I've used it on doors, trunk and hood and they work flawlessly everytime you shut the item. Great product and the price is excellent.
