The product is appreciated for its timely delivery, good quality, and functionality as a parking brake. It's been praised for easy installation, compact size, versatility, and value-for-money. However, several customers experienced leaks with the product, causing problems with the device locking out the brakes or not releasing properly, indicating potential defects or quality control issues. Some customers found it hard to apply pressure to the knob. Nevertheless, some customers are pleased with the product for its specific applications, like custom fitting in their vehicles and as a hydraulic parking brake, even describing it as a great alternative for an emergency brake. Despite mixed reviews, the positive recommendations highlight its practical and quality aspects against competition.

O ring failure or missing
This situation puzzles me. I have installed several of these locks in the past. However, in this case, after installing line lock, I applied normal brake pressure as a test. Brake fluid immediately began to gush from the stem seal, creating a real mess. Either the O ring instantly failed or was not installed during the manufacturing process. It created quite the mess as you might imagine. My guess is that this is an unusual defect created at the manufacturer. A little quality control is in order. Go Army. Thank you.

Junk
I tried to save money with this line lock but that was a mistake. Maybe I just got a defective one, but it didn't work at all. It actually worked one time and then after that it acted like a check-valve and locked every time I pushed the brakes--rather scary! Note, I did NOT have it installed backwards. Also, I found virtually no documentation or support. I wound up pitching the thing in the trash and buying a better quality lock.

Used it as a parking brake. Holds pressure with no bleed off for 24 hours, didn't test for any longer.

Ordered one a year ago and just installed it a couple weeks ago. Started leaking right away from the handle, tightened it up and continued bleeding brakes. After that it would not function, could not push the plunger down at all, hard as a rock. Called the not-so-hotline, waited an hour for answer, troubleshot the part and install, and decided I needed a new one. Customer service sent one out for me for free, thank you! New one is also junk. Made sure all connections were tight before bleeding. Bled the system per recommendations and tried to use the valve. You can push the plunger down now but it does absolutely nothing, won't hold the brakes as designed and simply releases no matter how many different ways you try. Brake lines were checked for leaks and the valve is installed in the right direction.

The part was fine. I was expecting to be able to mount this line lock device in the rear brake line, run a cable to the pass. compartment to operate the knob , and use this method as the Park Brake on my classic chevy. Turns out the knob was too hard to engage for a cable to operate. I'm trying to relocate/eliminate the park brake cables from the middle of the chassis to avoid exhaust/cable interference. I'll go another route.
