What's in the Box

Our Mustang II spindles are constructed from 1045 heat-treated alloy steel. Retains absolute stock factory geometry and uses all stock rotors, bearings, calipers, etc., making it easy to install.

Note: If using OEM caliper brackets, slight modification of the spindle and/or the caliper bracket is required. (Additional clearance between the spindle and caliper bracket is required.)

1974-1980 Pinto, Bobcat and Mustang II quality upper and lower ball joints, extra heavy duty rubber control arm and strut rod bushings. All grease fittings and hardware included.

11 Inch Ford Disc Brake Rotors
                        

This disc brake rotor was OEM on:

  • 1975-1980 Ford Granada
  • 1974-1977 Ford Maverick
  • 1977-1980 Lincoln Versailles
  • 1974-1977 Mercury Caliente, Comet
  • 1975-1980 Mercury Monarch

NOT interchangable with rotor 91031067. If you have the brackets and adapters designed for the Granada rotor, the GM rotor 91031067 will not fit. Very common rotor to use as a conversion rotor.

Mustang II Bolt-On Coil-Over Kit w/ Carrera Shocks
                        

These kits provide the highest quality performance characteristics for your Mustang II front end. The unique "half barrel" shape springs are designed specifically for use with the Carrera coil-over shocks and the factory upper spring pocket. This enables the use of a longer spring, which allows for a lighter overall spring rate. By building the upper section of the spring to factory dimensions, this puts the weight back into the frame instead of on a single stud.

Wilwood 830-9807 WWE Pro Spindle, 71-80 Pinto/Must II, w/ 2 Inch Drop
                        Wilwood's ProSpindle is specifically designed for use in fabricated A-arm suspensions on kit cars, street rods, drag cars and other custom or race applications configured around Pinto/Mustang ll suspension geometry. A redesigned one-piece forged steel body uses common Pinto and Mustang ll tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings and seals. It is lightweight yet nearly three times stronger than OE or aftermarket two-piece cast iron and steel replacement spindles.

The 2" dropped spindle pin provides the desired lowered ride height without disturbing the suspension geometry. Bolt-on steering arms are strong and can be reversed to accommodate rear steer configurations. They also allow the same spindle to be used on either side of a vehicle. Bolt-on caliper brackets attach to substantially reinforced mounting bosses on the spindle body for secure, deflection-free mounting of four or six piston calipers.

Wilwood Forged Dynalite Front Drag Brake Kit offers a complete disc brake upgrade solution for Mustang II-equipped drag race application under 2800 lbs. Based on the venerable forged billet 4-piston Dynalite caliper, these versatile kits suit the braking requirements and style preferences for an off road drag racing application. 

Calipers mount directly to the spindle with a bolt-on aluminum bracket.
