Info

Howe Basic Steering Quickeners are made to meet the requirements of the job with no frills to keep the cost down. It has undergone extensive cycle and load testing to make sure that durability has not been comprimised. Thanks to the alloy steel gears and unique tooth design, it is far stronger and more durable than any other small housing quickener on the market. 

3/4" 36-spline input and output. 8" overall length.

The mounting pattern is the same but the offset of the mounting holes versus the ends of the splined shafts is different. The Speedway quickener is more centered and this one is offset to one end.

It would be possible to install this on your Jeep if you want to quicken the steering up. You will need to fabricate a mount to bolt the quickener to as well as use U-joints or couplers to connect to the steering shaft. We offer U-joint 91032236 and coupler 91032281 which fit this quickener. Both are intended to be welded to a 3/4" OD steering shaft.
