Easily forgotten, but extremely importan

September 20, 2013
Filling up my tank at the gas station was a nightmare until I installed this vent valve. Now I don't spend 45 minutes at the station only to get my feet covered in fuel. This simple (but effective) part installs in minutes and saves you of many head aches (because your not huffing fumes from you fuel soaked shoes)
Pros:
  • Effective
  • Simple
Cons:
  • None
Yes, I recommend this product.

This vent must be installed on the top of the tank, preferably at the highest point of the tank. No filter is required, you can install a rubber hose on nipple and route towards the ground

This vent must be installed on the top of the tank, preferably at the highest point of the tank. It is not recommended to have it submerged in fuel since it would be possible for the fuel to be pushed out this vent if the fuel tank gets pressurized.
