Pro shocks new aluminum small body coil over shocks are 3 way adjustable. They are fitted with 2-1/2" chrome spring and aluminum coil over kit and make one of the cleanest coil overs on the market for your street rod. Each shock features urethane mounting bushings with both 1/2" and 5/8" mounting sleeves.

Afco springs too large and sloppy, 2 5/8" ID. Carrera springs, perfect fit! 2 1/2" ID. I would suggest changing spring suppliers for this shock!

Simple question.... is the 4" designation the outside diameter of the assembly?

No, 4” refers to the stroke length of the shock, 9.5” compressed – 13.5” extended. Spring is 2-5/8” id and around 3-1/4” od.

How wide is the bushing and the plate that the bushing is pressed into?

Here are some dimensions for this shock: Shock thickness- 9/16", Width at Base of Shock End- 1 1/2", Sleeve length- 1 1/2", Bushing OD- 3/4", Shock bushing ID- 3/4". The included sleeves reduce the ID to 5/8" and 1/2" fir various mount applications.
