Good product

March 19, 2015
Good mirror.. little expensive, but does the job. I put them on my 39 Chevy Master Delux with the extensions.. they look like they are kinda angled upward because of the curvature of the door.. Im sure on something with a flatter and squared door skin they would sit perfectly
Pros:
  • Nice chrome finish
Cons:
  • price is a little high
Yes, I recommend this product.

great mirrors, great price

June 12, 2014
I have had one of these mirrors installed on the drivers side for several years, but I gave more than thirty dollars for it at the local hotrod shop, and that has been ten years ago. I bought my new mirror and paid only a fraction for it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

May 22, 2010
Great mirrors and the lowest price I've seen anywhere. I used them on my Cobra replica mounted on the windshield posts. Big improvement over my fender mounted mirrors. Only con - no instructions. I haven't got a clue what some of the included mounting hardware is for.
Pros:
  • Easily adjustable
  • cheap
  • Look Great
Yes, I recommend this product.

Had same but it would not stay in place

December 10, 2011
Had the same mirror but it got "loose" would not stay in place. This one is same mirror but tight for now. I will probably have to buy another in a year or so as it will probably do the same. Will consider something else at that time.
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
No, I would not recommend this product.

Good product

December 31, 2011
This is a quality product. I did have to close the mounting bracket and grind the set screws a bit so it would not interfere the way the door closed on my 1931 Ford 5 window coupe.(touched the paint)But installation only took about ten minutes even with the modifacations.
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
Yes, I recommend this product.

Will it fit a 55 chevy 210 2-door

These peep mirrors will fit your 55 as long as there is enough room between the top of the door and the drip rail on the edge of the roof. Dimensions vary in the Tri-5 years and if the gap is too tight the only way to use the mirror is to notch the top of the door.

No they are too small. I put them on my 49 Merc and I can't see squat out of the passenger side. I went ahead and purchased a set of stock, chrome side view mirrors for my 54 Ford F100. They look great.

The peep mirrors are probably the most commonly used on the early pickups such as your 55. It requires an upper door that is flat and up to 1/8” thick. Other options may include the swan neck mirror number 91051260 but like other options require drilling into the outer door shell for attachment.
