The 3rd Generation Hydraulic Bender comes with five replaceable aluminum dies for round tubing with outer diameters (OD) of 1-inch, 1.25-inch, 1.5-inch, 1.625-inch, and 1.75-inch diameter tubing to handle any of your tube bending needs.
It has 7-inch bend radius dies for all five tubing sizes and incremental marks cast into dies that make it easy to reproduce bends. Works Great!
After reading the reviews I decided to buy this today. I love it so far but can relate to- "There is also a safety issue with the safety cable that runs thru the spring. One 90 degree bend with the 1.75 die and the cable comes apart." The cable is simply not long enough with where the lower bolt is located and pulls apart before the 90 degree. Simply relocating the lower bolt to a lower position should fix the problem. From seeing the design from the 1st generation bender, this one is MUCH improved. One other suggestion would be to have bigger print for the instruction manual. My reading vision is very good but I could hardly read the manual because of the small print and lack of ink that was on printed on the paper.

FIX IT MYSELF!!!? REALLY!!!!?
The product was easy to use once I figured out all the measurments and where I needed to make the bends. There is no booklet explaining any of this for what you need to do for chassis demensions and what the bender takes up or what the dies use up when bending tubing. There are a couple of things that the speedway staff came up with that "The customer might want to do to make it easier to use". There is also a safety issue with the safety cable that runs thru the spring. One 90 degree bend with the 1.75 die and the cable comes apart. Don't contact customer service. Customer service knows there is an issue with this and, they will just tell you to fix this yourself.

I thought bending with the hydraulic jack might be a bit of a pain but it works great. The instruction do mention it might be helpful to attach the jack to the base plate with a bolt I would not try bending without doing that. Without the bolt the jack does not stay in place. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this bender to build cages. The dies are made of cast aluminum and after 2 bends, the die exploded. When trying to bend 90° the hydraulic jack angle is pushing at the wrong angle and the die will not hold. As long as you are bending thin tubing for bumpers, it's fine. I use 1 3/4" × .095" wall DOM tubing and the bender is NOT strong enough to last. When my die exploded, I immediately called Speedway and didn't get much help. I paid for a new die and after waiting over 6 months, I finally canceled the order and instead went and bought a much better bender. I thought I done enough research before I bought this product but apparently not. Basically, remember you get what you pay for. Don't expect much out of this product, sorry.

Bends tubing with ease, still trying to eliminate inner wrinkles in pipe. Haven't had a chance to try speedways suggestion of thin oiled newspaper on anvils to ease this problem
