These brake pedal assemblies allow you to easily install power brakes on your 1947-1959 Chevy truck.
Will NOT work in conjunction with the factory clutch pedal. Intended for use with an auto transmission.
There was not a mention in the catalog that this mount eliminated the clutch pedal provision.
We have noted this on all frame mount pedals.
I installed this last summer. Everything fit as it should. The price is attractive. The edges of the pedal arm are rough stamped, but are not very visible when installed. I installed it with an 8 inch double diaphragm booster and a 1 and 1/8 bore master cylinder in a Disc / drum brake setup. The brake pedal feel is good.
Fast delivery in good condition
I found this pedal to be the best candidate for my hotrod build. this item had the best price and it worked perfectly on my 31 Chrysler with front disk brakes and 7 in. booster. Would highly recommend this product
Installed on my 54 truck. Bolted right on with out any modifications. Does not come with any instructions. But really a no-brainer.

can i use this with out power brakes and do I need a rod to push the master cyl. piston

As you can see the brake mount is set up for a booster, but can be used as a non power brake booster by using 910-31402. The only thing that you would have to do is play with a length of the rod. Rod part numbers are 91031520, 91031522, 91031524 and 91001726.

will this pedal assembly fit a boxed frame on a 51 chevy pick up 1/2 ton

Part # 91031977 This pedal assembly has a two part bracket and designed for an open frame. With modification of the initial frame rail bracket it could be used on a boxed frame. It will not work with factory clutch hardware.

What is the pedal ratio?
Asked on 4/21/2012 3:53:17 AM by from
Pedal ratio is 6.5 to 1 and if so desired by drilling two holes the pedal assembly could be used for manual brakes with only a master cylinder.
