Wilwood 120-13842-BK Forged Dynalite Internal Caliper 1.62/.81 In
Universal Fit, Four Caliper Pistons, 0.81" Rotor Thickness, Forged Aluminum, Powder Coated
The Forged Billet Dynalite Internal is the next generation enhancement of the venerable Forged Dynalite series calipers. Designed with a single split bridge and spacer less design to enhance strength and appearance. These latest applied developments and innovations in caliper design and manufacturing processes have resulted in substantial improvements in strength and performance over all comparable models. This new spacer-less design of the Forged Dynalite series of calipers, makes this the stiffest and most visual pleasing design so far.
The Forged Billet Dynalite Internal is the strongest caliper in the class, with weights starting at 3.00 pounds. The process of stress-flow forging re-aligns the metal's grain structure within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the breaks and interruptions to the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight block billet. The FEA generated radial transition design eliminates steps and shoulders in the area between the piston housing body and the caliper bridges. Structural deflection and volume displacement tests have proven the Forged Dynalite to outperform all existing styles of this popular caliper size.
