Customers praise this heater for its excellent heat output, compact size, and good value for money. It's described as being easy to install and efficient, with many customers expressing they would buy it again. Despite the need for some fabrication work, such as filing the switch to fit bracket and possibility of needing to create mounting brackets, the overall consensus is that it is a high-quality, practical product. The unit's performance in cold climates is particularly highly rated, with positive feedback about its ability to quickly heat vehicle interiors ranging from cars to tractors, even in extremely cold weather.

Just the right size.
I drive my 1932 ford pickup year round. The winters in Denver aren't to bad the roads stay clear most of the time but it is COLD. I had a little motor aid heater just didn't cut it. I installed this unit this week and what a difference. On low speed heats the cab fast and really a good amount of warm air. On high makes way more heat than I expected. Easy to install was a plus under a tight dash. So glad to see this in your catalog. Michael L.

decent heater, needs some redesign
I purchased (3) three of these heaters to install in street rods. The rocker switch would not install in plastic housing, too wide by about 1/32 inch. The mounting brackets were approximately 1/2 inch short to accommodate flush mounting because the fan motor protruded past the brackets. Fan motors fairly noisy, especially on high speed. On the positive side, small, compact, and attractive, but, with the sharp corners on the sheet metal housing.

Heater for a 1958 GMC. It's sturdy and works fine. But the fan on high is way too loud and the wiring diagram is wrong and the supplied hi-lo switch can't be mounted unless you have a drill that cuts rectangles. For 2 bills I expected better.

ONLY THINGS WERE: HAD TO MAKE A MOUNTING PLATE BECAUSE THE MOTOR PROTRUDED OUT FURTHER THAN THE MOUNTING LEGS. THE SWITCH DIDN'T FIT THE MOUNTING PLATE SO I USED MY OWN SWITCH. ALL WORKS GREAT . NICE TO HAVE HEAT!!

Fits well in my '31 Ford roadster. My issue is that the brackets are too short to mount the heater to the firewall without substantial spacers, or cutting a hole in the firewall for the blower motor. My mounting required fabbing brackets. Not a major issue, but it would have been better to have this thought through at the manufacturer's end. Also, depending on how you set up your brackets, you may end up pinching the hose grommets. Finally, requiring the hose connections to be made inside the vehicle seems like a leak looking to happen inside the car.
