Race your IMCA/RaceSaver Sprint Car to the finish line with this exclusive Chevy 305 crate engine from Speedway Motors Racing Engines! Our RaceSaver 305 is a perfect option for racers looking for a plug & play engine for their 305 Sprint. Each RaceSaver 305 crate engine is assembled and dyno tested by our team of experienced professionals.
Each 305 crate engine starts with a stock GM 305 block that is filled with a balanced, forged rotating assembly. The short block is topped with RaceSaver spec cylinder heads, a 2-3/16" Hilborn injector, and aluminum water pump. The piston rings and camshaft are then broke in on a computerized dyno using a specific break in oil, then the engine is tuned and dyno tested.
