Speedway Motors 9101203 Body Repair Patch Kit, 18 Gauge Sheet
Universal Fit, 18 Gauge Thickness, 0.0478" Material Thickness, Steel
These weld-in hole patch kits feature a variety of laser-cut, circular, steel weld-in patches, available in various gauges. They are slightly undersized to the hole you are patching in order to allow a clean and penetrating weld. Thinner gauges have a .025” standoff, thicker gauges have a .050” standoff to allow good penetration.
These patches are great for filling unwanted holes in firewalls, floors and frames. Larger diameters can be used to shave master cylinder holes. Heater hose passages and other smaller holes can be welded up using the smaller sizes. For holes smaller than .50” simply open smaller or irregularly shaped holes to .50” with a step drill.
