The product consistently receives appreciation for its fit and aesthetic appeal. Customers lauded its robustness, stating, "the best money can buy, fits great, doesn't flex, looks fantastic". It was recommended specifically for situations with a narrow engine compartment and short water pump. However, some users encountered need for modifications, particularly with the super7's intake setup where the fuel line may rub against the alternator causing a potential safety concern. Despite this, overall satisfaction is high, with customers preferring it over alternative mounts.

Poor discription
Part not so good .I had to drill one of the three head mounting holes to get the part on . Then when mounted the hood wouldn't close .With this said if you don't mind drilling a new hole and do not run a hood or have a hood like a 40s and 50s fat fender car this is your mount.

I bought this mount but since i'm running speedway's 3 2 barrel setup it will not work for my application. Alt is in the way of the fuel line feeding the front carb

I bought this alternator mount for my small block chevy. I'm running Speedways's 3 9super7's intake set up. Looks great and very solid mount but i had some issues. The First problem I encountered was that the fuel line for my front carb is very close to the rear of my alternator and can rub. Causeing a dangerous fuel leak that could start a fire on the alernator making electricity. The second problem i found was when it was time to tighten up the belt. If you adjust the belt tension too much. The adjuster hits your fan on your alternator. Also the belt contact the 3 bolts that attaches the mount to the head when running. Needed to counter sink holes and use allen head bolts.

If you have a very narrow engine compartment like I do in my 48 Anglia this setup works great! It's the only place to mount the alt. that works. The hardware comes anodized, which don't match the bracket. I had to change that out...used stainless.[...]
