Speedway Motors is the exclusive distributor of the incredible SOCALOOK® front crossmember and straight axle kits for 1944-77 VW Beetle sedans and convertibles. This unique crossmember allows you to place either a tube or I-beam straight axle and radius rods under the front of your VW Bug, making for a truly low cost and one-of-a-kind ride.
Choose either a tube axle or I-beam axle front suspension kit to go with your SOCALOOK® crossmember. Both axle kits include the axle of your choice, radius rods, spindles, spring, shocks, steering arms/rods, and all hardware.
Crossmember kit 910-34489 includes:
- Crossmember, bare steel finish
- Radius rod mounts
- Headlight brackets
- Sheet metal template
Note: This crossmember kit fits both the king-pin and ball joint style floor pans. It wont work for a Volkswagen Super Beetle. Wheel base is 107.5" when installed.
