Customers have praised the product's practicality, usability, and material quality. Users appreciated its ease of use, especially for installing rivets without needing an air compressor or hand-rivet gun. It has proved crucial for tasks in metal work and the metal roofing industry, outperforming hand-operated alternatives for multiple users. However, some reliability issues have been noted regarding its longevity and instances of faulty units. Despite this, it remains highly recommended for its time-efficiency, making riveting notably easier. Its versatility even extends its utility to non-conventional uses such as applying nameplates on stadium seating.

DOES THE JOB EVERY TIME !
I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS NOW IN THE METAL ROOFING INDUSTRY. YOU USE A LOT OF RIVETS PUTTING ON STANDING SEAM METAL ROOFING. WE ARE USING IT ON 24 GAUGE STEEL AND IT FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY. WOULDN'T WANT TO BE WITHOUT IT. THE HEAVIER DUTY RIVEDRILL WITH THE METAL TIP IS DEFINITLY WORTH THE MONEY FOR THE LONG HAUL. i HAVEN'T BOUGHT A LOT FROM SPEEDWAY BUT WHAT I HAVE BOUGHT I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE.

Weak
I used this product to put body pieces on my race car and I didn't even make it through an entire box of 100 rivers and it broke. It was very gently used and never dropped or banged around. Lasted for about 70 rivets and left me in the middle of my project to finish by hand. It took a couple weeks to get my new one. And when I received the new one I was missing the tip I needed to use it. I would not recommend this product to anyone as you can by a hand operated one for a fraction of the cost.

Work great. Usually get 1 or 2 race seasons before needing to replace. Could be a little better built.

Wanted a solution to adding rivets at the track, when I didn't want to have to fire up the air compressor or use a hand-rivet gun. This was a perfect solution and worked great.

Defective out of the box. All it did was make a clicking noise, which caught the attention of my dog. Maybe Brownie will get some use out of it.

I installed 280 nameplates on stadium seating, each with 4 rivets. This tool allowed me to use my drill for both drilling the rivet holes and quickly applying the rivets. It added a whole new function to my cordless drill. I really can't think of any negative things about this attachment since it works better than expected.

where does the rivet stem get disengaged to once the rivet is set? my main issue w/ the rivet tools i have used in the past is the jamming of the stems due to them not exiting the tool properly. Does this item need to be removed from the drill to release the rivet stem after each rivet is set?
