I purchased these for use of my '27 Model T Roadster build. An original set of period correct Hartford shocks are near impossible to find. These are darn need the same at a far better price. Thank you Speedway!

poor attention to detail
Looks like they will do the job. I'm not sure the stamped "spring" is really up to job. We'll see. The parts look like they were stamps and then plated without deburring ( sharp edges). I would have expected better workmanship from Offenhausee.

Is this shock 2.19 inches from the mounting surface to the top of the adjusting bolt? I have about 2 inches of clearance between the frame and hairpins. If the shock is more than 1 - 1/2 inches it won't fit.

I am looking to use these on my 6" drop front end that I got throgh Speedway and I was wondering what is the best way to mount them? Use the 3/8 stud that is shown and then the weld on tabs and then connect the tab to the stud with like a heim rod end?
