MSD 8227 Blaster Coil - Ford

  • MSD designed these Coils by combining our Blaster Coil experience with E-core coil efficiency
  • Each coil has a unique turns ratio plus there is lower primary resistance than the stock coil
  • This all amounts to a bolt-in replacement coil that produces more output voltage

MSD 31323 Black Super Conductor Ford 302, 351With HEI

  • Engineered from the inside out, the 8.5 offers everything you have everwanted in a wire; incredibly low resistance without electronic interference!
  • In a single 12 inch length of Super Conductor Wire there is only 40 - 50 ohms of resistance!
    • That is the lowest resistance of any helically wound wire
    • To accomplish this, we use a copper alloy conductor due to its great voltage carrying capabilities
    • The low resistance results in less loss in spark energy so more reaches the spark plug
    • The conductor is wound extremely tight around a special center core
    • So tight in fact, that there is over 40 feet of conductor wrapped into a single foot of plug wire
    • This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) "choke"
    • This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your vehicle
  • The outer sleeve that surrounds the conductor assembly is just as impressive
    • A proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic material produce a sleeve that is highly resistant to high heat as well as abrasion and tears

 

 

MSD 8456 Ford 5.0L Pro-Billet Distributor (more details)

When you start making serious power with your EFI Ford, the stock distributor shaft is one of the weak links of the engine. These Pro-Billet models answer the need for an affordable replacement in a strong and great looking package. Each distributor starts as a solid billet that is secured into a state-of-the art Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine where it is transformed into a precision housing. Inside each housing there is a sealed ball bearing at the top of the shaft. This design is responsible for accurately guiding the oversized polished steel shaft throughout the entire rpm range of your engine. The shaft is also QPQ-coated for friction reduction and corrosion resistance. The Pro-Billet Distributors use a stock-style trigger pick-up to accept factory connectors. For installation, you simply remove the stock distributor and bolt the Pro-Billet MSD in place! Each model is supplied with a high-quality cap with brass terminals for full spark delivery, heavy-duty rotor and a special gear to work with
