LockNLube GC81011 Locking Grease Gun Coupler, 1/8 In NPT

The LockNLube^® Grease Coupler is compatible with all grease guns and grease fittings. It does not leak once locked on and will not pop off under pressure. No hands are needed to align or hold the coupler in place while greasing. You have both hands free to operate your grease gun and know that the grease will go in, not on, your machine. Guaranteed.

It has a unique sliding sleeve, activated by a thumb lever. The sleeve locks the four spring-steel jaws onto the Zerk fitting, and releases the jaws by pushing on the thumb lever. When the jaws are locked onto the Zerk, a leak-proof seal is created. The locked connection is positive and rigid preventing the coupler from coming loose and breaking the leak-proof seal. If a fitting becomes pressurized, especially a recessed one, just depress the thumb lever and release the coupler.

The LockNLube® Grease Coupler XL features almost 4" of reach, 2" more than the standard LockNLube® Grease Coupler. Especially suited for deeply recessed fittings, and with the same leak-free, hands-free convenience of the traditional model.

The LockNLube Hose Swivels are built to withstand up to 10,000 PSI so that you can use them with any grease gun - battery, pneumatic, or hand-pump. Our reinforced design also stands up to lateral pressures that get put on a grease gun hose, not just the pressure of the grease moving through it. LockNLube GB17 Grease Buster Clogged Fitting Removal Tool

Open up clogged grease fittings with the original Grease Buster ®. Simply fill with a solvent and tap the piston with a hammer. The updated design includes a textured grip and two o-rings. Manufactured by LockNLube in the USA.

The Original Grease Buster® is the most rugged version of his products.

The Grease Buster's piston, included with the product, is hollow and should be filled with a liquid (not aerosol) penetrating oil. Seat the piston in the Grease Buster, attach the coupler to your Zerk fitting, and tap the piston with a hammer. This forces the penetrating oil into the fitting and loosens it for regular greasing.

PROPER USE

The Grease Buster is the answer to a problem that many people have lived with for a long time. Plugged-up grease fittings and bearings are a problem common in machinery. One greases a machine and the grease can dry out before the machine is used again. The tool consists of a heavy-duty adjustable hydraulic coupler, cylinder, and a piston with a knob.

Instructions: Remove the piston. Fill the cylinder by pouring in penetrating oil. Start the piston back into the cylinder. Place the tool onto the grease fitting and by tapping the piston, forcing the solvent into the fitting and or bearing. The key work is TAP. Using a lightweight hammer and small, rapid taps, work the penetrating oil into the fitting. You're trying to dissolve the clog, not blast it out of the way. Repeat if necessary.
