Speedway Tight Lash cams produce a broad range of power due to the short amount of cam degrees it takes to go from .020" lift to .050" cam lift. This is known as major intensity. The shorter the span the more torque the lobe will produce, and for the lobe to run excellent up at higher RPM, it must have an excellent area under the curve. You can tell these do because of the very high duration at .200" cam lift.

Compare our numbers to other cam profiles and you will find that these are far superior!

Kit Includes:

SBC Solid Lifter Tight Lash Cam, 2750-6500 RPM

  • 355-377 ci, high torque 1/4-3/8 mile oval power
  • IMCA Approved

SBC V8 Solid Mechanical Lifters

Any time you put in a new cam, you must use new lifters!

Mechanical lifters feature precision ground bodies for long life and durability. For engines that require top-end oiling through the lifter.

Our lifters feature precise oil metering to ensure proper lubrication of the rocker arms and related components while eliminating excess oil to the rest of the valve train. All 1955-86 Chevy V8. Set of 16.

Camshaft Lockplate and Bolt Kit

  • Camshaft lock plate with three grade 8 cam bolts
  • Bolts are 5/16-18 X 7/8 USS Coarse Grade 8

Racing Valve Springs, 1.26" OD

Speedway racing valve springs offer an affordable alternative to the "big brand" valve springs. These quality springs are made in the U.S.A. and are guaranteed to perform.

Steel Valve Spring Retainers

Steel 7° retainers fit 1.250" diameter valve springs. Fits 11?32" stem. Heat-treated (40% stronger than stock). Black oxide finish.

Set of 16.

OEM Steel Valve Locks

These case hardened OEM style stamped steel locks are designed for stock engines using 7° valve locks. They are manufactured from machined steel and offer excellent valve spring location, so it is not necessary to change to a 10° retainer. Whether you're rebuilding a stock engine or changing to valve springs that have more seat pressure, these valve locks will provide the reliability that you've been looking for.

  • Machined from high-quality steel
  • Valve stem diameter: 0.342 in.
  • Small Block Chevy
  • 11/32", 7 Degree
  • Set of 32

Cloyes C3023X SBC Double Roller Timing Chain

These heavy-duty double-roller timing chain sets for S/B Chevy V8s feature .200" diameter rollers, cast iron cam sprockets and high-quality, heat-treated steel crank sprockets with triple keyways.

  • V8 1955-84 small block Chevy
  • 90° V6 1978-89
  • .200"diameter rollers
