This is a really good performing carburetor right out of the box. I've used several different 350 and 500 CFM Holley 2bbl carburetors on Street Stock and Hobby Stock type race cars over the years, and they always seem to make a decent little motor run pretty good for me. I'm not positive what all the Dorton specific mods are on this carburetor, but once you bolt it on and set the idle and timing, it's time to go🏁🏆😎

Not sure why this carb did not work well for us. It seemed to have good reviews. Car seemed to spit and sputter with this carb. Put the old Rochester back on and the car ran fine. Might need to play with adjustments some more. A lot of money to be this disappointed.

It made an immediate difference. Sadly, much better than I expected. I destroyed 2 motors with it due to having over compensated with the previous carbs. But now I am getting excellent results that were not available before.

Fit the bill exactly and performed great with little adjustments. Holley has the corner on performance with a wide range of up grades. Speedway is number one as a supplier and tech support, you can not go wrong hear. If you have a question they have the answer for you.

Best carbs I have bought. Trouble free, outstanding performance, idle. Start and run better than carbs with a Choke.
