Stock WidthWhy go with tubular control arms? The most obvious reason is the looks. Tubular control arms and strut rods give your hot rod a much cleaner and hi-tech appearance than the stock type do. Another bonus is that the tubular control arms are available in 5/8 " narrower than stock, which helps tuck the wheels up under the fenders without having to buy expensive special offset wheel. When using 5/8 " narrower control arms, 1 " must be removed from each inner tie rod end.Why go with tubular control arms? The most obvious reason is the looks. Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the well-made and expected quality of our product, the Heists Upper A Arms. However, it's noted that you may need a 1/16th pipe tap for the Zerk fitting, which is crucial for greasing the ball joint. Despite this, its material quality and usability stand out, being superior to the Speedway lower arms. The product's features are commendable, but improvement in the Zerk fitting would further amplify its practicality and safety.

I recommend this product ONLY IF you have a 1/16th pipe tap. If not you will have a very nice set of A arms with no way to grease the ball joint. Even worse than that its an open hole to the bearing area. I found this out after I installed them of course. I bought the Speedway lower arms a few months back and had a little trouble installing the ball joint but that was it. Maybe save yourself some money and buy the speedway set There is no thread for the zerk fitting. It will not self tap. I used a 1/4-28, but its far from right since the thread needied is tapered and its a completely different thread count, it just lets me get a little grease in there and keeps the dirt out. Its a shame, everything else is very well done
