Suitable for latch-free commercial or residential wood or metal doors, from 1-1/2” to 1-3/4” thick. 

Our foot pull door opener includes 3 mounting screws and is pre-drilled for a secure, long lasting mount as well as heavy-duty tape to retract and disable the door handle striker latch if needed.  Mount on the bottom of the door, back side or both. Measures 5" long, 3" wide, 1" thick.

Notes:

• This door pull opener does not require the removal of the door for installation, but is recommended.
• Requires a standard 1/4" gap between the door edge and door frame, as well as a 1/4" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.

Instructions:

• If the door can be removed for installation, remove the door and position the foot pull three inches from the door's outside edge.  Use the included screws to screw it to the bottom (underside) of the door.
• If the door cannot be removed, position the foot pull three inches from the outside edge of the door and use the included screws to secure it to the backside of the door.
• If possible, remove the latch unit within the door handle assembly.  The striker plate on the door frame can be left in place.  If the door latch can not be removed, apply tape to both the latch assembly and strike hole.  Doing this allows the door to open freely, eliminating the need to touch the knob or handle to release the latch.
