do you need anything else to make horn work this Adapter and a grant banjo steering wheel on the Speedway motors nostalgia steering column is what I'm doing you said this was the right adapter to join wheel and Column do I need anything else to make the 12 V Horn work THANK YOU

I bought this to mount 410-1057 banjo wheel to a flaming river column 715-201. When I mount the adapter there is a 3/8 inch gap between the adapter and the front edge of the column. Is this normal? I have not put the nut on yet and I don't want to force it on.
