Overall Assessment

The product received mixed reviews. Many customers appreciated its compatibility with older GM transmissions and found it worked excellently for their projects, offering ample clearance for a starter and long headers. However, some customers faced issues like leaking at factory and installed fittings, recommending local hose shops for better quality at a lower cost. Others commented on concerns of excessive plating on AN fittings, unsuitability of hard metal lines for certain applications, and the challenge of cutting the SS line. While the product features were mostly admired, quality inconsistencies were a prominent concern for some customers.

Used the lines on a 700R4 trans swap in my 66 C20 . They cleared my starter and long headers with plenty of room.

First kit I purchased leaked. Purchased second kit and experienced the same problem, leaking at the factory fitting as well as at the installed fitting. Went to local hose shop and had them make up lines exactly like this. Ended up costing less than this kit.

this is a complete kit for older style GM transmissions. AOD transmissions need additional fittings for the case. speedway motors are always efficient getting orders shipped. the help desk was extremely helpful in resolving my issue with ordering the additional fittings that i needed.

There were a couple of things things about this kit that gave me heart burn! And I see where 'Gotta Show' is in phoenix so was going to call them personally but ended up getting everything hooked up with some extra fittings purchased from Speedway. 1. Excessive plating is a quality thing and for the $$$ should of been better, one fitting fit fine while the other required some real torque! 2. The 'hard metal lines' with the 1/2-20 DO not go in the 350TH tranny! However I was able to use in my old reman GM radiator tranny coolant ports. 3. The last issue was probably me, e.g., cutting the SS line. And I know how to do this, but the average HS cuttoff wheel took several tries and I was glad i had extra line. Fittings to hose were good. I have no problem with markup on QUALITY kits, but every component must have the quality they are advertising..
