The title is miss leading. It is a ignition conversion not what I would call a tip. Although it is another option to the flathead ignition. If you are looking for a different approach to changing from one style to another then ok. This is not what I thought I was getting. The information would be helpful if this is what you were looking to do. The title should have been different. It is not what I thought I was getting. I would only recommend this book if this is the kind of conversion you were looking to do with original Ford parts.

"A nice little book" that lives up to it's title. However it is pretty much old school tech. from the '40s and '50s that falls short of newer ignition upgrades for the Flathead Ford. Much of the Information is historical in value rather truly helpful in achieving power improvements. The "book" could be a small part of the Ignition chapter in any of the current crop of Ford Flathead books.
