"Quite an interesting character, he developed a basic set of rules for himself early in life and stuck to them and it seems to have worked out very well" - bigfoot584, MN

"What a great book. Hard to put down. Speedy Bill had a great lift and I am so glad it has been written. Love the history of racing and the comments on Jan Opperman and Doug Wolfgang. Dave Argabright can sure tell a story. I'll never pass up a book by him again!" - Sky, ID

"Once I got the book I could not put it down. The book is written for the enthusiasts by a TRUE enthusiast; note you do not have to be an automotive enthusiast, just enthusiastic about your goal. It's the story of an average guy who with passion and drive accomplished extraordinary things; all while overcoming extreme obstacles. It's the story of an American family and a family business" - Fred, CA

Quite an interesting character, he developed a basic set of rules for himself early in life and stuck to them and it seems to have worked out very well when you see where Speedway Motors is today.

Bill has been a long time admired friend. I casually mentioned to my wife I would like Bill's book for Christmas. Once I got the book I could not put it down. My days start clear back to Capital Beach the purple Sudan-the Vicky-the roadster on to sprint cars. Still remember the rumble of Tiny and the Car Service truck. Those days meant soo much to a poor college student and to relive them is wonderful, fallowed those drivers and the driver south east Lincoln all my life. Knowing the can do spirit of Lincoln in those times Bill and his Panama Hat was one the great stories. Looking even more foreward to SEMA knowing where it came from. I could go on and on the book just lites the fires of wonderful Memories
