Is this filter compatible on the tank side of a standard mechanical fuel pump? I have a small block gen 1 427 chevy putting out 603hp running a mechanical fuel pump and 950 quick fuel carb. I am tinkling about putting this on the outlet of the fuel tank to filter all the fuel before it gets to the pump and carb. Will this work?

Fuel filter specifications, part number As usual, a product is listed and the information is spotty, if any. This fuel filter will become contaminated. It will need to be replaced. Do you offer a replacement filter? If not, what brand and part number will work with it?
