Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the bracket for its straightforward design and simple mounting process, noting it fits well and saves time during installation. Its confirmed qualities include being well-built, sturdy, and ideal for specific mechanics like LS1 swaps and older models such as the '53 Chevy pickup or '69 Camaro. However, many customers caution that the included belt tends to be too short, suggesting future buyers purchase the belt separately. Despite this issue, the general consensus affirms the bracket's quality and practicality, often recommending it for its confirmed compatibility and easy installation.

Nice piece

This is a nice piece and does relocate the PS and ALT nicely, but doesn't mention ALT needs to be spaced. Not big deal made my own spacers for bracket and ALT to work with truck style water pump and balancer pulley. The belt should have a idler pulley mounted under the power steering pump to get a little more bite on the pulley and move belt inward toward the rest of the drive assembly.

Belt doesn't fit

The bracket works great bolted right into place, went to throw the belt on and it's too short, read the reviews and saw others had the same problem... even tried to install on the water last and it's about an inch too short, I would recommend buying the bracket and going somewhere else for the belt unless you like spending more money.

The bracket is very simple, and fits really well. I thought people were just complaining in the reviews, but they are right. The belt is way too small. The idler pulling is maxed out.

Does anyone have a part number for a little little longer belt? I was able to get mine on, but it's so tight it causes it to squeak.

I have read the q&a's. You say this kit does not fit the gto engines because spacing is wrong. Isn't the f-body and gto the same spacing? If so then this kit should work. I have 2006 6.0l and like this kit for a 1971 chevelle. The crankshaft pulley and water pump are the same on both engines. Thank you

It looks like the alternator sits very close to the steering pulley. Will the larger truck alternator work with this or only f-body alternator?

I have a 2002 f- body LS1 and there is a brake perportioning box almost in the way of where the alternator would be when relocated. Any experience with that? Will it fit in there?
