Why Dike® Works:

  • System Compatible: Works with all standard and permanent radiator coolants (both green and orange)
  • High Performance: Suitable for high performance (including aluminum radiators), racing, heavy trucks, and water-cooled equipment
  • Instant Seal: Stops leaks quickly in the radiator, head gasket or cracked blocks
  • Internal Protection: Seals coolant leaks before antifreeze reaches crankcase
  • Engine Safe: Will not block small coolant passages
  • Boosts Gasket Performance: Helps gaskets form tighter seals
  • Preventative or On-the-Spot Repairs: Carry Dike® in your emergency kit or as preventive treatment

Stops Coolant Leaks Fast in Nearly any Cooling System

Even a small leak in your radiator or cooling system can spiral into serious engine trouble. Coolant loss leads to overheating, and worse—antifreeze that seeps into your engine can sludge oil passages, reduce lubrication, and damage internal components.

Dike® Temporary Radiator Stop Leak acts fast—sealing small internal leaks quickly, including around the head stud, radiators or cracked blocks without clogging your cooling system. Whether you need emergency repair or preventive protection, Dike® gets you back on the road or the track with confidence.

Dike® works with all standard and permanent radiator coolants (green and orange). Safe for aluminum and high-performance radiators. Dike comes concentrated and requires mixing with water before pouring into your radiator (see How to use Dike® below).

Use Dike® as a preventive treatment or an emergency fix—it's a smart line of defense for your vehicle’s cooling system.

How to use Dike®

  1. Shake well before using.
  2. For cooling systems up to four gallons: pre-mix one pint of Dike® to a minimum of one-gallon water/coolant mixture.
  3. Add this mixture of Dike, coolant and water to the radiator. Use caution as cooling systems are under pressure and may be hot.
  4. Replace radiator cap and run engine for at least 15 minutes.
  5. For cooling systems larger than four gallons, add four ounces of Dike for each additional gallon of coolants.
  6. Dike will not clog radiators or system components. If the cooling system is filtered, the filter should be removed or bypassed when using Dike®

This is a great stop leak. I have used it in personal cars for small leaks in the heater core to my race car when a rock hit a tube in the radiator. Works great every time
