Since 1990 Bill's Hot Rod Co. has had one goal in mind; to design alternator, air conditioner and power steering brackets that fit and are easy to use, as well as affordable and stylish. The 600 Series alternator brackets fit GM 10-SI or 12-Si alternators. Brackets position the units over the valve covers. Brackets come completely assembled with all stainless steel bolts and washers, illustrated instruction sheet, and belt size recommendations with adjusting tips.
Notes:
To protect and preserve the finish on these powdercoated or chrome plated brackets, be sure to apply a good qualitywaxsuch as carnauba, as needed.
Bracket mounts using only the existing factory drilled holes found on the front face of the heads. If the valve cover gasket flange extends over the machine surface or head face, you will have to grind or file the circled area as needed to allow the bracket to sit flat on the head face.

Customers appreciate the quality and aesthetics of these brackets, highlighting their eye-catching chrome finish. Many customers found fitment to be excellent, though the product may obstruct the cap when used with certain low power steering brackets. A potential downside is that these brackets require modifying the front flange of one's valve covers - an aspect clearly mentioned in the instructions which might be a concern for expensive valve covers. Yet, users tend to recommend this product confidently for its superior qualities compared to the competition.

Works w/ their low power steering bracket, but blocks cap. Lost a star for that reason.

These brackets are beautiful the chrome is too notch and they fit great. The only issue is that you have to trim the front flange on your valve covers. They inform you of this in the instructions so not a surprise but, running a set of $300 valve covers through my router table is a bit unnerving not difficult just want to get it right. Don't hesitate to buy these they are great.
