Info

Since 1990, Bill's Hot Rod Co. has had one goal in mind; to design alternator, air conditioner and power steering brackets that fit and are easy to use, as well as affordable and stylish. This 1100 Series side-mount accessory drive is a solution to the challenges encountered when swapping a GM LS engine into a muscle car, pickup truck, or street rod. Factory accessories on most GM LS engines are mounted low and tight to the engine, making it difficult to swap into older vehicle frames with large crossmembers and steering boxes. These 1100 Series front drive bracket kits relocate the alternator, power steering pump and A/C compressor to a higher, outside position on the engine but well below the hood line of most vehicles. The layout of this bracket is similar to the Corvette design.

This alternator bracket kit is designed to use alternators from 1998-02 Camaro/Firebird, 2000-15 GM truck, Cadillac CTS-V LS6/LS2, and 2010-15 Camaro. It works with LS1/LS2/LS6 wide pulley water pump (GM 19256263), LS2 pump (GM 89018052) or truck pump (GM 19207665). This kit is intended for vehicles without power steering pumps. Brackets come completely assembled with all stainless steel bolts and washers, illustrated instruction sheet, and belt size recommendations.

These LS swap kits include the brackets and hardware needed for installation, but an additional spacer kit may be required to work with certain accessory combinations (depending on what vehicle your engine came from). If using accessories from a Corvette (non-supercharged), CTS-V LS6/LS2, or Pontiac G8, no additional spacers are necessary - just order the standard 1100 Series kit that meets your needs. If using accessories from a Camaro/Firebird LS1 or Pontiac GTO, you'll need additional spacer kit 91668043. If using accessories from a 2010-15 Camaro (non-supercharged) or GM truck, you'll need additional spacer kit 91668044.

  • Bracket fits all LS series engines
  • Available spacer kits (sold separately) allow easy fitment to F-Body LS1, GTO, Gen 5 Camaro, or GM truck drive depth/offset
  • Utilizes commonly available and affordable GM alternators
  • Works with A/C bracket 91668042 for non-power steering cars
  • Ideal for crate engines or take-out junkyard motors
  • Brackets come completely assembled with stainless hardware
  • Bolts on - no drilling or tapping necessary
  • Made from mild steel plate for strength and durability
  • Choose between black powdercoated, chrome or raw steel finish
