Customers find the product effective and practical, highlighting its quick cutting speed and ability to rectify distortions caused by welding. Notably, it was successfully used on a 1956 Ford and to make a pitman arm reversible. Despite requests for added features like flats on the shank to prevent slipping, the product still garners positive recommendations due to its performance. Comparatively, customers found it superior even though alternative cheaper options were available. Its quality and usability make it standout among competitors.

Used this to change the depth on an Apex product on our 3rd Gen Dodge kit when changing over to a straight TJ drag link end to get rid of the bend in the drag link. I set this up a mill to ensure the nut would seat flat. The straight shank is perfect for this while still being able to be inserted into a 1/2" hand drill in crude emergencies. Spiral fluting was smooth during the cut. This reemer will last longer than my needs.

The manufacture should add three flats to the shank for end users that don't have access to a milling machine that uses collets to securely hold the tool from spinning on the shank... Some users will have a drill press with a 3-jaw key chuck or worse yet a hand drill to use to hold the tool... Most of these latter cases will end up with a scared shank...

While this reamer has the spiral flutes that cut the best with the least chatter they could have made it with 3 flats on the shank to lessen the tendency for slipping in the chuck. I also saw this available for 1/3 less money somewhere else but I had already bought this one.

I cut the original round stock under size in the lath, then welded the mount to the bracket. The bracket was to large to swing in the lath, so I used the AFCO 80770 to kiss the mount and bring it out to the finished size. This removes the distortion caused by welding. If you don't have a lath, you could drill the hole in the mount, weld it to the bracket, then ream to the finished size. Use cutting oil while reaming.

very sharp and cuts quickly. I used it to cut a pitman arm half way through from the back to make it reversible. I am sure it will work well to mount tie rod ends in bungs.
