This rear disc brake kit works on GM 10 and 12 bolt rear ends in the years that use a rear cover. It will NOT work on early GM rear ends that had the front drop carrier. The bolt pattern of the housing flange where the backing plate bolts on is 3.125" horizontally on top, 2.687" horizontally on the bottom, and 2.437" vertically front and rear. Offset for the axle is 2.81”. If your rear end assembly meets these requirements it should work without problems.

You inquired about our US brake 10/12 bolt Chevy rear disc brake kit. These are intended for the car rear ends and do not cover the truck rear ends. The axle offset required is 2.81 and this is from the housing flange to the face of the axle when assembled. The bracket bolts to the inside of the housing flange and should work on your application if offset is still the same. One way to see the assembly process is to visit our website and enter number 91031919 in the search window, click search to bring up the first page, click on the photo to bring up the second page and scroll down slightly and you will see the pdf instructions file in purple print. Click on this tab to bring up the full instruction set with blow up photos of the assembly process. This should clarify your questions.
