Afco kit number 10672500200 is a good kit for the price and has a weld on bracket for use with the offset of your pickup rear end. It has the 2 ½” piston for improved braking and replaceable rotor discs. This kit is a direct ship from Afco in Indiana.

when measuring the backspace for the rotor hat do i measure from the axle flange to the axle tube? and would that tell me which rotor hat i need?

The I.D. of the brake hats are 5.85 to 6.1” and normally will go over the end of the axle housing flange. The variations of the hat depth or offset is to help the customer with the weld on bracket location. These weld on kits offer the versatility to work with even the early 9” rear ends and others not offered with a bolt on kit. Simply match the offset of the hat to your needs and verify it will clear the housing flange.
