These upper rear shock brackets mount coil over shocks to your frame or crossmember. Perfect for use with Model A frames. Mount is set up for a 5/8" bolt.
After more than fifty years of use, the original upper shock mounts on the front of your vintage Ford pickup are likely worn out, damaged or missing.These forged steel upper shock mounts are reproductions of those used on 1948-1952 Ford F1 trucks, but are also adaptable to other beam-axle trucks from the 1940's and 1950's.

These stainless steel upper front shock mounts measure 4" from the top bolt hole to the centerline of the stud. Mounting bolts are spaced at 2-5/16" on center.Shocks bushing and stainless steel hardware is included.
Removable bearing mount allows installation of rubber bumpers or shock extensions. Can also be used with coil-over mount kits shown below - slight drilling of upper spring mount required.
Shock mounting stud is approximately 3-5/8" in overall length. The part where the shock rides, is 5/8" O.D. and approximately 1-1/4" wide and the threads at the shock end are 7/16"-20, about 7/8" long. The threads at the bracket end are 1/2"-20, about 1-1/8" long.
