Worked perfectly on my truck!

February 21, 2015
I am restoring a 1951 Ford F1 and the windshield wiper switch on the truck didn't work. Many sites had the switch but the price was $30 and upward. I purchased this switch and the only thing I had to do was to change the wiring connectors. Installed it and it works perfectly. Jesse

Wiper Switches

September 13, 2014
These work fine and were easy to change out. The only problem (irritation) I have is that the switches work backward. Most switches are worked by turning to the right. These must be turned to the left.
Cons:
  • these must be turned to the left.
  • most switches are worked by turning to the right.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Depending on your wiring on your wiper conversion the Speedway universal single wiper switch number 91064056 may be able to be used to replace a bad OEM switch. Check the wiring diagram for this switch and compare it to your requirements. http://static.speedwaymotors.com/pdf/910-64056.pdf

Can this switch supply 12v to the wiper motor? I have a 67 mustang 2 speed wiper motor. I can bench test it by grounding the case and adding 12v to either low and high speed wires. It also requires 12v to the park circuit. Can 12v be ran to the off position of the switch so it supplies power to park the wipers, and supply 12v to both high and low?

Yes, the switch will park the wipers. It has four wire connections on the switch. One is the input source from your ignition or fuse block. The other three go to the wiper motor. Hi, lo and park. On my wiper motor the middle terminal was park. Maybe this all help. Sonny

Yes you typically connect the B terminal to battery power. See our instruction sheet here: http://static.speedwaymotors.com/pdf/910-64056.pdf The operation of this switch is as follows: OFF = continuity between terminal B & P LOW = continuity between terminal B & L HI = continuity between terminal B & H

We apologize for any confusion but when using a single motor like number 91123502 and the wiper switch for a single motor you will only net one speed. 12 volt power is put to the motor as well as the ground. Then from the “S” terminal on the motor to the “L” terminal on the switch and from the “B” terminal on the switch to ground. The instructions with the switch are for a different style of motor and will not function when hooked up in a different configuration.

Universal billet aluminum switch knobs work great as a headlight switch knob, dash knob, door knobs, lock knob, wiper knob, or a radio knob. These 3/16" versions are retained with a set screw.
