Week to Wicked Day 2 Morning Recap
Day Two started off with the truck back up on the lift, prepping for a little A/C work and some other minor details. The transmission was inbound for the LS3, and once that showed up the guys were looking forward to getting them bolted together and dropped in for a fitment test.
Along with the arrival of the trans, the fuel tank will be hung and some fuel lines run as needed, and they will also tidy up some brake lines.
They briefly talked about the bolt in IFS that Speedway Motors brought along as well. While most front crossmembers are a weld in design, the Speedway unit is a bolt in, meaning anyone can install it in a weekend with basic hand tools. While it is a bolt in unit, there would be nothing stopping a builder from welding it in as well after everything is locked up where they want it. With tubular control arms and multiple brake kit options available, a customer can set this Mustang II IFS up almost any way they would like.
