Excellent

I never realized that the attachment points for a mustang Mustang II power steering unit would be half inch shorter than a manual Mustang II. The offset mounting bushings worked perfectly.
Pros:
  • Perfect Fit
Cons:
  • washers tend to slip out of place when tightened.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Work great!

On my cross member, the holes were slotted to accommodate either 15 1/2"or 16" racks but the eccentricity of the bushings allowed the power rack to clear the cross member better.
Pros:
  • Problem solver
  • Durable
  • Easy To Use
  • Versatile
Yes, I recommend this product.

Yes, the offset bushings work perfectly. A little extra effort is required to keep the washers in place. I used then on a 47 Ford that already had a manual Mustang II rack and pinion installed. I used a Saganaw power steering pump and it is a real headache to hook it up to the Mustang II Rack and pinion power steering because the pump connections are so close together. I used two hoses to connect the high pressure side in a U shape. In retrospect a remote reservoir unit may give a little more room.

Part number 91034342 These bushings allow the installation of a rack with 15 ½” centers on a cross member with 16” centers or could be used in the reverse for your application.
