You get a new 500 series power steering box, new centerlink, new pitman and idler arm. This is a straight bolt-in conversion, although '58-'60 cars need to order the 910-32582 idler arm adapter. Steering box uses 'inverted flare' fittings, 11/16" Fine on the pressure side and 5/8" Fine thread on the return side.
Included in this kit isa new 500 series power steering box, new centerlink, new pitman and idler arm. Modification of the original steering column is required. Use 910-32460 (1955-56) or 910-32462 (1957) to convert the stock column for use with this kit. This is a straight bolt-on conversion when using our Ididit columns.
These 1937-1948 Ford lower tie rod steering arms are sold in pairs. Arms should only be used with a straight axle application and NOT a dropped tube axle. They will not clear a dropped axle. Has 3-3/8" eye-to-eye centers on mount bolt holes.

This 2" drop steel steering arm fits '37-'48 Ford style spindles. It is tapered to accept an 11/16" tie rod end. Designed for use on upper spindle mount in "traditional steering" set-ups using a reversed Corvair, '48-'56 Ford pickup, or '68-'73 Mustang steering box.
