Aluminum 9 Inch Ford Daytona Pinion Support
                        

This forged aluminum pinion support is far superior to the original cast iron model. This pinion support uses a standard Ford 9" front pinion bearing and the Daytona style pinion bearing on the rear.

Ford 9 Inch Steel Full Spool
                        

Lightweight and standard steel Ford 9" full spools are available with 28 or 31 splines. Standard steel spool weighs 8.7 lbs. (28 Spline) & 8.0 lbs. (31 Spline).  The lightweight steel spool weighs 6.2 lbs. (28 Spline) & 6.1 lbs. (31 Spline)

NOTE: All Ford 9" full spools use overhaul kit #919-0950-31, even if they are a 28 spline spool.  The 919-0950-31 contains the large I.D. standard O.D. carrier bearings and pinion bearings.

If you are using the H.D. nodular iron center section which use the large diameter carrier bearings, order kit # 919-0950-31s, which also includes the large pinion bearings for use with the Daytona pinion support.
9 Inch Ford Rear End Overhaul Kit
                        This 9" Ford overhaul kit includes: pinion pilot, pinion shaft, pinion nut, pinion seal, gasket, shims, crush collar, sealant, gear marking grease, brush and Loctite. Ring gear bolts not included. 

NOTE: All Ford 9" full spools use overhaul kit 9190950-31, even if they are a 28-spline spool. The 9190950-31 contains the large I.D. standard O.D. carrier bearings and pinion bearings needed for use with our full spools.

Cast Iron 9 Inch Ford Daytona Pinion Support
                        

This pinion support is cast from 30,000 psi gray iron and is far superior to the original Ford unit. Daytona supports have a larger rear (inner) bearing and race along with improved oil flow to the bearings. This allows for higher torque, horsepower, and longer bearing life. Pinion support weighs 6 lbs.
