These are for rod ends with urethane bushings to take up the inside width of the brackets. If you were to use radius rods the front bracket for the hair pins would need to be located to eliminate any bind when the vehicle is at ride height. Or you could use heim ends and spacers as needed. The front hairpins that we offer are 5” center to center and these brackets are 5 1/2" so the hairpins would require modification. The rear hairpins are for 5 ¾” centers and would require pulling together slightly before welding in the “Z” stiffener.

This 4 bar bracket with shock mount is designed for axle housing tubes in 3” O.D. Different sizes or configurations are currently not offered. If you have a smaller diameter tube you simply need to weld a strap to the housing with the appropriate thickness of metal strap before welding on the bracket. If your housing is larger you will need to grind and relieve the bracket to the appropriate size.

What is the spacing of the 2 bar mounting holes at the front of the brackets? Is it 5- 3/4" and would they be compatible with hairpin radius rods if the ends were changed from clevis type to bar type with a through bolt like 4 bars have? I currently have brackets like part # 916-45009 and one side tore loose from my axle due to a bad weld. I am looking to replace them with these brackets because they also have a shock mount hole.I have a Ford 8.8 inch rear axle with a 3" tube on a t bucket and coil over rear shocks. Any info will be helpful

The four bar mounting holes on these brackets are 5 1/2" center to center. You could use these with a hair pin radius rod as long as that spacing works for you.

These brackets have thru holes for mounting the shock. Sorry we do not have a picture of the inside. It is a very simple bracket with a hole drilled though it.
