Installed it on a 1986 mustang mini stock. Fits perfect, sounds great and has noticable performance at all RPM range. Love it.

Great product for the price

I installed this on a 94 ranger 2.3 liter. There was a noticeable power increase over the stock header throughout all rpms. I had to grind a little material from the flange on the front cylinder to clear the coil pack bracket, but that was not big deal. I would highly recommend this header. It looks, sounds, and runs great.

When I received my headers I was worried about the fit, because I wasn't sure about the year of my engine. Once I took off the old manifold the new header went on with no problem. I am very pleased with the whole outcome.

Will this work on a stock 1974 Ford Pinto, 2.3L Stock exhaust manifold is cracked and looking for a replacement but do not want to modify the body to fit this.

This header should fit a mustang II stock frame. The dimensions are on the website to measure and check and as always if the header does not fit for some reason you can always ship it back for a refund.

Sorry I do not have any information that says if these will or will not fit a Fox body Mustang. These were designed for the Mustang II and Pinto cars but I suppose it's possible that it could fit a Fox body. Unfortunately the only way to know would be to try it.

This 2.3 Ford header is designed for production chassis to exit under the car on the Pinto or Mustang II. Note: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately change color.
