Budget alternative

December 30, 2015
When mounting these on a Flo Tek head they seam to need spacers due to angle to avoid having the nut hitting the roller arm walls in case the tip slightly. Also with Flo Tek heads you need the spacers as the rocker studs are to long and the stop bolt cant almost be threaded. Ended up having to get 7.650 Push rods on a 351W.
Pros:
  • Can Use Stock Covers
  • cheap
Cons:
  • Odd Gemetry
  • needs spacers
No, I would not recommend this product.

Your heads will have to be machined to accept screw in studs before you can use these rocker arms. Sorry we do not offer a bolt on replacement pedestal rocker arm.

These are going to be a non-rail type rocker. They would be used on a 3/8” stud. The rocker arms are a 1.6 Ratio. They are used with push rod guide plates.

Roller tip rocker arms number 57583201 utilize the same adjustment as stock rocker arms which is the cam requirements. Adjust the same as you would with the stock style rocker arms.

These rockers do not have a specified maximum RPM. We have many racers using this same series of rocker arm on small block Chevy engines at 6500 to 7000 RPM.
