The 602/604 DUI is designed specifically for these crate engines with two features that set it apart from regular Racing DUIs. First, the mechanical advance is calibrated on a distributor machine with an aggressive and accurate timing curve designed to meet the requirements of these crate motors. This special racing curve will ensure maximum performance and get your car out of the corners faster. Second, a melonized
gear is installed on the distributor (instead of the stock cast gear) which is compatible with factory roller cams.

These IMCA-sealed 604 crate engines are based on the popular Fast Burn 385 street crate engine, but include a racing-only 8-quart circle track oil pan with dual kick-out design, along with a valve cover breather kit and special "kool nut" rocker arm design. HVH Super Sucker 604 Carburetor 4-Hole Spacer, 5/8 Inch

Designed by Joe Petelle at HVH over 15 years ago for Winston Cup engines, this spacer will increase air speed from the base of the carburetor to the top of the intake valve, pulling more fuel from the carburetor, the Super Sucker will require a change in the size jet currently being used. E.T. is reduced as much as 1/10 of a second and lap times reduced as much as 2/10 of a second.

Improvements in the throttle response, driveability, top end horsepower and torque are commonplace when using a Super Sucker.

This 5/8" aluminum spacer is specifically designed for the 604 crate engine and gives more low end and mid range torque without reducing top end torque.
