I really was impressed with the quality of the con rods. We haven't raced with them yet but just assembly and inspection showed the quality and I am sure they will get the job done.
Pros:
  • interlock on rod bolts
Cons:
  • slight heavy but acceptable
Yes, I recommend this product.

great rods and cheaper than stock

August 17, 2014
We used to cross our fingers and recondition used rods, but there are fewer good shops doing that work today. Then we bought new stock rods from Chevy and performed the extras. That cost bucks. For a while you could get name brand rods cheaper than stock, but no more. New rods like these, with all the extras, are cheaper than Chevy rods and much better. Great for a mild street motor.
Pros:
  • all the extra prep
Cons:
  • import
Yes, I recommend this product.

  • Price
Yes, I recommend this product.

Sorry these rods do not have an RPM rating. They do work well for engines in the application that you are dealing with. We sell a lot of these rods for Hobby Stock engines.

No these are not stroker clearanced.

What is the bolt torque for these rods? I bought a set, and they either did not come with an instruction sheet, or my machinist lost it. Thank you in advance!
