    If you thought all T-buckets were the same, think again! The all-new Speedway Motors Tribute T breaks the T-bucket mold. It offers the traditional look of classic, competition-influenced roadsters combined with modern components and refined engineering. All this in a comfortable package that's easy to assemble using basic hand tools.

    The Tribute T frame has an extra-high rear kickup and Model A rear crossmember that will accept our medium-arch rear leaf spring. Rear axle options include our bolt-on Winters quick-change kit 7151801, bolt-on 9" Ford rear axle option 7151809, or a Ford-style banjo rear end of your choice (must be a centered-pinion rear axle). The front suspension uses a 4 inch drop I-beam axle, wishbone-style radius rods and traditional steering with a reversed Corvair steering box. All suspension, steering and brake pedal brackets are pre-welded to the frame and you can choose from flathead F

This unique crossmember allows you to place either a tube or I-beam straight axle and radius rods under the front of your Beetle, making for a truly low cost and one-of-a-kind ride. 

    Choose either a tube axle or I-beam axle front suspension kit to go with your SoCalLook crossmember. Both axle kits include the axle of your choice, radius rods, spindles, spring, shocks, steering arms/rods, and all hardware.

    Crossmember kit 910-34489 includes:

    • Crossmember, bare steel finish

    Note: This crossmember kit fits both the king-pin and ball joint style floor pans. It won't work for a Volkswagen Super Beetle. Wheel base is 107.5" when installed.

    With their exciting, racy styling, Track T roadsters are some of the most recognizeable hot rods in American automotive history. Designed for nostalgic originality, Speedway’s Track-T Roadster is an economical way to relive that vintage motoring spirit. This kit car turns heads wherever it goes with its beautiful, one-piece 1927 T body, smooth lines and custom track style nose.  The Track-T is designed to use the powertrain from 4-cylinder or V6 powered rear wheel drive vehicles.  In such a small, lightweight car they become mighty spirited performers.

    The 1927 Track-T basic kit includes a 1927 Model T Roadster body with right and left full length side frame covers and custom floor with transmission tunnel.  It also comes with a passenger compartment rear bulkhead divider, street rodder nose, rear roll pan, smooth flat cowl/firewall and front shock mounts.  Headlight mounts, hood top, and aluminum hood sides are also included. The storage compartment behind the seat is even large enough to accept 2-3 suitcases, or a large cooler & picnic basket. 

    The rigid tube steel chassis features front & rear kick-ups for a lower ride height and includes pre-mounted suspension bracketry.     These are the headlight and shock mounts we designed  for our T-buckets. They were designed to be welded to the outside edge of the frame rail with the shock mounting on outside (front) of the bracket.

    • Mounts have 1/2" holes for Dietz style or other headlights
    • Each mount has two different 1/2" hole locations for upper shock mounting
    • Weld-on to frame rail
    • Shock bolts to outside, front of mount

    Be sure to purchase our shock mount bolts (sold separately) with installation of these brackets.

    Note:  This set of brackets is intended to be used with "radius-rod" (not 4-bar) style T-frames.

    If you still need a front axle assembly for your pre-2008 Total Performance T-Bucket, you had better read this. The Total Performance T-Bucket spindles were a hybrid that combined Econoline kingpins, early Chevy bracket mounting tabs and early Ford wheel bearing surfaces.  Unfortunately these spindles are no longer being manufactured. Speedway has a kit that includes the axle, leaf spring, shackles, radius rods, '49-'54 Chevy car style spindles with kingpins and hardware. This kit will get you away from the hybrid spindles and allows you to run any of our '49-'54 Chevy style brake kits. 

    Steering arms and tie rod assemblies sold separately. Currently available in plain steel only.

    These Deluxe Shockwave rear suspension kits feature smooth-riding Ridetech Shockwave air shocks and compressor. These 7000 series Shockwaves are 4" in diameter and have a load capacity of 780 lbs. @ 100 psi air pressure. They work well with a rear axle weight of 1500 lbs. or less. No air tank is required.

    Kit includes two Shockwave air-over-shocks, air compressor, air control panel, plain steel panhard bar, two polished stainless steel 32" radius rods with mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware.
